ANCIENT CIVIILITATION GROUP 1

HISTORY

Talavera de la Reina was founded at the confluence of the rivers Alberche an Togus. This area of great ecologicar weath was the settlement of Celtic people who baitt the most ancient rains of the area.
During the time of the Roman Empire the name of the city was Caesarobriga. In 182 BCE Quintos fulvius flaccus conquered the city, establishing it as part of the Roman province of Lusitania as a city that woved pay a stipend, and as the capital of an extended are included in the legal Convent of the city of Emerita Augusta.
